Description
In this concert piece, the timeline with the ups and downs of an amateur music association is depicted in four parts.
Part I Born from tradition: Tradition is a part from which a music association often owes its existence. In the Netherlands, these were often Christian traditions.
Part II Prosperity: In this part the blossoming of a music association is depicted. An energetic and positive part in which there is a clear musical build-up.
Part III Turbulence: sometimes the atmosphere can abruptly turn into turbulent times with mutual strife and loss of members. To be heard by the tension and measure changes.
Part four in Harmony: In the end, coorperation and friendship is the key to making music in harmony. The positive motive from part two returns.
