Slap Shift by J.B. Smith is a very unique ensemble consisting of 6 conga players! This uncommon ensemble is great for those who may not have a lot of conga experience that want a challenge. This piece is one of the first in its kind in that it has notated conga techniques and a tutorial included to assist conga players in order to play the instrument correctly. This piece is in 12/8 and is filled with traditional conga and Latin rhythms.
