Echogeneses is a complex quartet for four multi-performers The duration of this three movement work is ten minutes, and the form is basically fast-slow-fast. The pitched percussion instruments are limited to 4 timpam, 4 Roto Toms, 3 Brake Drums, and 5 Temple Blocks. The content of the ensemble has numerous rhythmic bursts, and there is extensive use of cross rhythms between the performers and unusual groupings across two or more beats. There are numerous dynamic contrasts and changes in color between wood and metallic sounds. The print is clear in format, although the size of notes is quite small. There was only one score that was presented for review. ft should be understood that four scores are needed for performance, or five if a conductor is used. This is an excellent composition for the advanced percussion ensemble. Highly recommended. - George Frock, October 1993<ref>http://www.pas.org/Learn/compresearch.aspx</ref>
