Program Notes

This good piece is printed in lead sheet format, or score. Eastman School of Music percussion Professor John Beck performed it on a gig at drum set with a standard combo. I play it often on marimba and piano solo, and have programmed it at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse on solo vibe. It is named for Judy Bablitch, who donated it to a church auction. She is married to James Bablitch, and is Director of Portage County Department of Health and Human Services in Stevens Point, Wisconsin USA.
