Bibliograhy

David Hext is Section Principal of the world-famous Hallé Orchestra, which is based in Manchester, England. While studying at the Royal College of Music in London, he became a member of the prestigious European Youth Orchestra and gained early experience by playing in almost every major orchestra in the United Kingdom.Leaving the Royal College, David Hext was invited to play with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra where he held the Sub-Principal position for six years. David Hext has written extensively for solo tuned percussion and timpani and his works are prominent in Trinity College London, London College of Music & Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. David Hextalso owns and runs HEXTMUSIC.
