Aurora Borealis by John Thrower is dedicated to Katarzyna Mycka and a recording can be found on her CD Marimba Dance. The work is based on the "northern lights" phenomenon that occurs from the reflection of sunlight on atmospheric dust particles generally seen in the dark evening hours of countries in the northern hemisphere
