Program Notes
"Vent de juin" was commissioned by the flute quartet "Juan" and premiered at the group's debut concert."Vent" means "June" in French. June is a season when various natural phenomena intersect, such as pleasant breezes, bright sunshine, and gentle rain. I aimed to express these elements in music and create a style that would be familiar to even those who do not normally listen to classical music.
