Korean Songs for Marimba is an incredible new collection of solo marimba etudes celebrating and embracing traditional Korean music. Arranged by percussion superstars, Ji Hye Jung and Eric Cha-Beach, this book of ten etudes is a fantastic new addition to the marimba repertoire. Specifically written with students in mind, these short, intermediate etudes are perfect for young, developing marimbists. The collection incorporates both two and four mallet playing and provides a wealth of technical challenges within the rich musical context of Korean children's songs and folk melodies. We collaborated with Brooklyn-based graphic designer and illustrator, Ash Suh, for the beautiful cover art and book layout. Enjoy!
