Description
Emile Waldteufel was best known as a composer of waltzes for the dance hall. One of his best-known waltzes was inspired by a waltz by Chabrier, entitled Espana Waltz. This arrangement was specially made by Leon Camp for a music association, which made a concert trip to Barcelona and performed it there with great success for an audience of 1,000. A standing ovation was the result!
