Aurora Polaris (in Dutch, "polar lights") is a composition for percussion ensemble, symbolizing the color development of the northern lights. The composition begins with a chorale, which continues throughout the piece. The dark sky, filled with bright stars, is filled with the warm and rich colors of Aurora Polaris throughout the composition.
