Dr. Christopher A. Davis teaches applied percussion at North Greenville Unviersity, where he also directs the NGU Percussion Ensemble and the NGU Marching Crusaders. Christopher has performed with numerous regional orchestras which include the Westerville Symphony Orchestra, the Central Ohio Symphony, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC), the Spartanburg Philharmonic, and the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra. He has also had the honor of performing at conferences for the Ohio Music Educators Association (OMEA) and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) and has performed at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) as a member of the Capital University Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band, the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, and the IUP Percussion Ensemble. Christopher has been a percussion specialist for the Centerville High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble, the Hilliard Davidson High School Marching Band and Indoor Percussion Ensemble, the Penns Manor High School Marching Band, and the Westmont Hilltop High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble. In addition to his responosibilities at North Greenville University, Christopher Davis also teaches private percussion lessons to all ages, performs as a freelance musician, and presents master classes for schools around the South Carolina Upstate.
