He was a professor at the Professional Conservatory of Altea and at the “Oscar Esplá” Higher Conservatory of Music in Alicante. Michael Jansen began his musical career in Germany as a pianist. Years later he moved to Spain where he would continue studying with percussion. He was a professor at the Professional Conservatory of Altea and at the “Oscar Esplá” Higher Conservatory of Music in Alicante. As a composer, Michael has several works for percussion ensembles (Tot per l'Aire) that have been performed both in different countries of the European community and in South America.
