Program Notes

Commissioned by and written for John Dee, this concerto is one long movement with several sections featuring various combinations of the four groups: solo oboe, solo bassoon, percussion and strings. It is written based on two sets: a four pitch set and another set based on the combinatorility of the original set and its inversion.
