One day during a thunderstorm, the wind chimes outside my studio window were ringing the same four notes over and over. Alejandro decided to play along with the wind chimes on his piano and started to feel a connection to something greater than himself. Using pentatonic scales and a very simple two-chord harmonic progression, this piece aims to transport players and listeners to a meditative state of consciousness.
