He pursued further studies in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in The Netherlands in 2002, from which he received his master’s degree two years later. After serving as a percussionist at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, he assumed the post of Principal Timpani with the Geminiani Chamber Orchestra.
