			This book contains dampening studies, pedaling studies, as well as solo pieces for the development of the [[vibraphone]] technique. It is also possible to practice improvisation with some of these pieces, as some of the pieces have an extra part with chords only, to be performed by a second mallet player ([[marimba]]). Besides their pedagogical nature, these pieces are fun to play and can also be used as concert pieces in student recitals.
