He has performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and a number of other Brisbane based ensembles. David is also the director of the successful business, [[Queensland Percussion Products]], that specialises in building and repairing percussion instruments. He currently works in the world of audio recording (at Ghostgum Audio) and venue management (at Cannon Hill Anglican College) as well as percussion education.

			As part of his role of a percussion and drum kit educator, David has written a number of works for primary and secondary school performance. David also has much experience in arranging and transcribing a diverse range of classical works for percussion ensemble that covers contemporary works to exciting arrangements of Mozart symphonies.
