== Program Notes ==
I created the colorful staircase of a rainbow, feeling the fantasy of color, and creating a colorful sound. I wanted to recreate the refreshing feeling one gets when encountering a rainbow, the bright and cheerful feeling when the rainbow clouds suddenly disappear, and that moment of happiness. The prism staircase is painted in seven colors, each one creating seven fantasies without mixing. The seemingly infinite tones created by the percussion ensemble allowed me to express the fantasy of the rainbow. I was conscious of color in every aspect, from the combination of instruments to tempo, dynamics, and phrasing. Each instrument fully expresses its own color. A space of color spreads from the rainbow bridge, and within it, vibrant nature is born. I was able to create a stage that felt and expressed the drama and depth of the colors created by sound. The rainbow colors are based on the seven colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and indigo. Please imagine which instrument corresponds to which color as you play.
