The flexible instrumentation and variable number of players provide options for large or small groups, and through part doubling the piece can easily accommodate well over 20 players. There are some notable rhythms occurring repeatedly throughout the piece, and group learning of the included “Rhythm and Accent Studies” page will help players better understand the parts they are playing and the parts they are hearing within the ensemble. There are plenty of chances for keyboard, battery, and accessory percussionists to shine, and challenging parts are repeated often so that players can thoroughly understand them.
